Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the end of WW I
On Saturday November 10th there will be a concert of Remembrance at 7.30pm. Robert Carlin, the church organist, has gathered a first rate choir. He himself is a professional singer and sings with the Welsh National Opera and the programme will be of a very high standard
There will also be a service at 0945 on Remembrance Sunday itself, complete with a trumpeter playing the Last Post and the Reveille. It will be a very powerful and moving occasion For the last two years the trumpeter has been Zerlina Vulliamy, a descendant of the architect of St James.
